Irene Watts is an author who has been deeply involved with theatre her whole life. She is best know for her adaptations of Robert Munsch stories for the stage, and for her award-winning historical novels for tweens. Her latest novel, Touched by Fire, is about a young immigrant girl in 1911 New York who works in a garment factory that catches on fire.
